College Services
Library
Students have access to the CHEC Library, a resource that is shared with students from Southern Cross University and North Coast Institute (TAFE).
As a result of the partnership, students have access to a university-style library, with additional resources, librarians and computing facilities to help them with their studies.
The CHEC Library is open extended hours and Senior College students are encouraged to take advantage of these later opening hours. Throughout the year, the library is typically open until 7pm during the week (5pm on Fridays), even during school holidays. The library is also open on Saturday afternoons during term.
We have a dedicated Senior College Librarian based in the CHEC Library, who is available to assist students with any of their library needs.
There are a number of computer workstations, printing & photocopying facilities, quiet study areas, as well as access to a number of newspapers, magazines and journals - all of which are available to students at the CHEC Library.
- The Library has a dedicated webpage at: www.scu.edu.au/library/chec
- They also have a Library Information Blog at: checlibrary.wordpress.com
