Centre for Excellence

The Centres for Excellence program is a Federally funded initiative to develop high quality teaching and to improve teacher training across NSW.

Centres for Excellence are sites which demonstrate, develop and share high quality teaching, leading to improved outcomes for students. The Centre for Excellence model is flexible and may be applied differently according to local needs.  Fifty Centres for Excellence will be created across government, Catholic and independent schools in partnership with NSW universities.
