Ride To College Day
Twenty-five cyclists recently rode to college as part of the National Ride to School Program. We were delighted at the response to the ride and cyclists were given a cup of coffee and cake for their efforts.
We have inaugurated a special trophy for the cyclists called The Cadel named after Australia’s well known cyclist to encourage students and staff to ride to College on this day.
The trophy is awarded on the basis of the most number of cyclists coming from either north or south of Hogbin Drive. This year the trophy will be awarded to the Northerners.
Don’t forget the National Ride to Work Day in October where once again the trophy will be up for taking between the Northerners and the Southerners of Hogbin Drive. A big thank you to the SRC who yet again helped in the running of the event.
