Zone Athletics Results

Senior College girls at the Zone Athletics Carnival

Well done to all our students for their efforts in the recent Zone Athletics. Some of the highlights from the day include:

Boys - a series of great results!

Sam Harrison 4th in the 100m
Patrice Jutzi 3rd in the U/16s 400m and 800m events
Elias Brown 2nd in the 3000m
Nicholas Dern 2nd in the High Jump (1.70m)
Narayan Neubauer 4th in the long jump.

Girls - our girls were outstanding!

Klaryse Dam – 2nd in 100m and 3rd in the 200m
Siobhan Deam came 2nd in the 400m and won the 800m
Britney McMullen won her 1500m and 3000m
Our relay team came 3rd on the day
Emma Goddard coming 1st in Discus and 2nd in Shot Put

Congratulations all students who attended an extremely successful athletics carnival.

A big thank you to our volunteers Georgia Gerdes, Fiona Mackay and Jarvis Duncan who assisted with marshalling on the day and ensured the day ran smoothly.

2013 Enrolment Information Evening

The college's information evening for 2013 Year 11 and Year 12 enrolments will be held on Tuesday, 26 June 2012, at 5.30pm in D Block Theatre.

An information package will be available and includes the application form and curriculum information to enable students to select their subjects.

Year 12 Parent-Teacher Night

Tuesday 22 May 2012 between 4-7pm. Interview booking sheet is included in College News 3/12.

Student Meeting - 29 May

Separate meetings will be held as follows - both starting at 10.45 am:

Year 11 will be in Lower D Theatre for a cyberbullying workshop; and

Year 12 will be in Upper D Theatre for an examination preparation session.

CHEC Factor

You've all been waiting for it ... CHEC Factor 2012 is coming! Heats will be held lunchtimes in D Theatre on Tuesday - 29 May, 5 & 12 June. Final will be held as part of Colours Day in Term 3. More info in Daily Notices or at Student Meeting - or contact Denise Wake.
