Senior College Relay Team Makes History
Coffs Harbour Senior College students Emma Goddard, Chandla Stack, Klaryse Dam and Casey Irwin head to Homebush, Sydney on the 25 March to contest the 4×50m Freestyle Relay.
It is the first time in the history of the college that a senior girls relay side has qualified for the CHS State Swimming Titles. Whilst only one of the girls still swims competitively, the other three girls have a swimming history for their respective sporting involvements. The girls convincingly qualified in a time of 2:05 whilst competing at the North Coast Swimming Championships at Banora Point last week in an elite field of swimmers.
Sporting opportunities and achievements at the college are thriving with the college actively participating in many sports provided by the Department of Education & Training Sports Unit.
