Laptop Program
All students who attend Coffs Harbour Senior College are provided with an internet connected student laptop as part of the Federal Government's Digital Education Revolution (DER). Our DER wireless network provides internet access across the campus, including the library, classrooms and some of our specialist learning facilities.
Students who come to the college from a NSW Government School should bring their DER laptop with them. Our Technical Support Officer (TSO) is on hand to make sure everything is running smoothly with it.
Students coming to the college from the private system or from interstate will be issued with their laptop in the first few weeks of Year 11.
Students are able to use the laptops in class to take notes, access information and research materials and to prepare their major assignments.
You can find out more information about the Senior College's DER Laptop Program in the IT Help section of this site.
