Curriculum Handbook
Every year, the College produces a Curriculum Handbook that outlines what is required of students to successfully complete their Preliminary and Higher School Certificates.
This handbook has details of the required pattern of study (subject selection) required to successfully achieve the HSC, as well as details of the topics that are covered and the assessment tasks required.

Enrolment Process
Changing schools is a big decision. We hope that you will see the benefits of studying in our specialist HSC adult learning environment. If you are considering enrolling at the College, the process is quite straightforward. We encourage you to attend our Enrolment Information Evening held in June (date to be confirmed). Fees
Coffs Harbour Senior College is a NSW Government School, providing education for students in Years 11 and 12. Families are asked to make a general contribution to the college, which will help to pay for additional resources and equipment for use by students. HSC Assessment
For students, the HSC is the culmination of thirteen years of schooling. It is what they are working toward throughout their education and will have a major influence on their future opportunities.
Assessment in the HSC incorporates both exam conditions as well as research projects and major works. These major works can be some of the most challenging parts of the HSC. Read on to find out more about HSC Assessment and how to achieve your best.
International Student?
International students are welcome to complete the HSC at the College. With the additional resources provided on Campus through the English Language Centre and our adult learning environment, the College is well suited for international students.
The NSW Department of Education has established DET International to manage the enrolments of international students. If you are an international student considering studying at Coffs Harbour Senior College, you will need to firstly register with DET International.

Student Handbook
Upon commencement at the College, students are provided with access to the Student Handbook.
The Student Handbook provides all the information a student needs to succeed at the College, including contact details for staff, maps of the campus as well as information about the facilities, services and support available to them.
Subjects & Lines
As a specialist HSC learning environment, the College is able to provide students with the maximum possible subject choice. We are able to offer a large number of subjects across a wide range of learning areas.
