Every year, the College produces a Curriculum Handbook that outlines what is required of students to successfully complete their Preliminary and Higher School Certificates.
This handbook has details of the required pattern of study (subject selection) required to successfully achieve the HSC, as well as details of the topics that are covered and the assessment tasks required.

Coffs Harbour Senior College is a NSW Government School, providing education for students in Years 11 and 12. Families are asked to make a general contribution to the college, which will help to pay for additional resources and equipment for use by students. For students, the HSC is the culmination of thirteen years of schooling. It is what they are working toward throughout their education and will have a major influence on their future opportunities.

International students are welcome to complete the HSC at the College. With the additional resources provided on Campus through the English Language Centre and our adult learning environment, the College is well suited for international students.
The NSW Department of Education has established DET International to manage the enrolments of international students. If you are an international student considering studying at Coffs Harbour Senior College, you will need to firstly register with DET International.
